Oslo Jazzfestival 2021
På Stengrunn is the name of the group that recorded the album På Stengrunn in 1973. A classic album with songs based on the classic working class poems by Norwegian poet Rudolf Nilsen. The group consisted of Lillebjørn Nilsen, Jon Arne Corell, Lars Klevstrand, Kari Svendsen, Steinar Ofsdal and Carl Morten Iversen. in the last year also with Pål Moddi Knutsen instead of Nilsen who has withdrawn from the project.
In 2019, the sequel På Gjensyn came with a selection of Rudolf Nilsen poems that have not previously been set to music. The new line up now includes Pål Moddi Knutsen, as Lillebjørn Nilsen retired from the project.
The group wants to show what unique versatility lies in the poetry treasure after Rudolf Nilsenm and you’ll be able to experience the poems with the new lineup at Salt during Oslo Jazzfestival.
