The 21 year old singer-songwriter from Morgedal, SYMRE creates a vernacular blend of genres. The Norwegian lyrics are in focus, balancing humor and seriousness. After two years of studying jazz guitar at the Grieg Academy in Bergen, she will be continuing her studies at the FRIKA program at the Norwegian Academy of Music. She has been playing concerts with the rest of her band since the summer of 2022, and they are all looking forward to playing this year's Oslo Jazz Festival!
