Production intern

April 19th, 2026:

The Oslo Jazz Festival is seeking a curious and music-interested production intern for a five-week engagement in summer 2026.

The Oslo Jazz Festival (OJF) is a non-profit foundation that, since its founding in 1986, has organized a week-long festival with around 100 concerts in mid-August. The festival takes place across the city’s many concert venues and clubs, presenting a broad and contemporary jazz program ranging from international stars to more niche expressions.

Oslojazz Talent is a comprehensive talent development program for jazz students during the Oslo Jazz Festival. Eight bands are selected for four intensive days of networking, communication, learning, and inspiration. Through interaction with the festival, industry professionals, and each other, the goal is to provide participants with valuable experience they can carry into their professional careers as jazz musicians.
