For over 20 years, Beate Lech, perhaps better known as Beady Belle, has been releasing music that borders on pop, soul, funk, and jazz, and everything in between. Most recently demonstrated with bravura on the album Nothing But The Truth, which came out in 2022. Here, refined neo-soul is baked with melodic interludes, with a solid groove at the bottom that constantly revolves around Lech's soulful voice. This is something she has made into an art form throughout her eventful career.

Lech started as a vocalist in Folk & Røvere, and since 2001 she has released eleven albums under the Beady Belle alias. She has also collaborated with well-known names from both home and abroad such as Bugge Wesseltoft, Jon Eberson, Joshua Redman, Jarle Bernhoft, Jamie Cullum, and Dee Dee Bridgewater.

With her, she has an exceptionally solid and tight band that never disappoints. And the crowning glory is Lech's velvety voice with enormous energy and presence. The party starts early this Saturday at Herr Nilsen!
