Daniela Reyes was awarded the Usbl Jazztalent prize at the Oslo Jazz Festival 2019, and as a part of this award she has been invited to perform this year's festival!
Despite her young age, Reyes has performed at, among others, Bylarm, Over Oslo, Miniøya, and of course the Oslo Jazz Festival. She is known for her personal approach to her music, full of life, charm and energy.
Her musical universe is honest and full of beauty. She combines the innocent with the mighty. The lyrics are both fun and serious. They create room for wonder, laughter and reflection.
The music we hear this evening will be Daniela's own compositions in the face of jazz improvisation. On Victoria's stage during the Oslo Jazz Festival, she has brought some of her own favorite musicians to perform along with her guitar, accordion and vocals. Her band consists of Eyolf Dale (piano), Hans Hulbækmo (drums), Ole Morten Vågan (bass), and Håkon Aase (violin.
