After several years of great enthusiasm for Fieh’s live shows, their debut album «Cold Water Burning Skin» arrived autumn of 2019. «Fieh sounds like a newly opened glass bottle of Coke – and it fizzes the brain from the first sip,» D2 wrote. Now they’re ready to perform their energetic show for us at Oslo Jazzfestival! And they’ve been praised by Elton John himself!

The Oppland octet is a close-knit group of frieds, and together they create a dynamic jazz fusion, inspired by seventies’ soul and funk. The group consists of lead singer Sofie Tollefsbøl, guitarist Jørgen Kasbo, on backup vocals and moog is Solveig Wang, backup vocalist Thea Arnesdotter Lien, on drums Ola Øverby (Damata), bass Andreas Rukan, Keys Edvard Synnes (Masåva, Fretless Five), and trumpet Lyder Øvreås Røed (Lyder Røed Kvintett, Mosambique, OJKOS – Orchestra for jazz composers in Oslo).
