Oslojazz Talent: Ingeborg Sollid Kvartett

Ingeborg Sollid Quartet combines acoustic jazz and synth-influenced pop, where jazz harmonica and improvisation meet soaring melodies and sonorous soundscapes. The musical expression is characterized by a listening interaction, large dynamic shifts and a warm band sound - where the combination of vocals and vibraphone in particular contributes to a distinctive timbre. The music explores the balance between the textual and the instrumental, the modern and the traditional, the low-key and the powerful, with lyrics about identity, planets and powerful waves. The band has already made a name for itself with concerts during Oslojazz 2025 and at Stavanger Jazzforum in February 2026 as part of the launch program Jazzintro.
