With lyrical themes, beautiful harmonies, and complex rhythmic, Lightning Trio plays jazz music that both pleases and challenges the listener.

The trio explores a specter of styles and expressions through the members’ own compositions. Everything from catching pop music, intense modal jazz, to art music from the 1900s. Their joy of playing and curiosity shines through their interactions, creating space for unexpected and creative solutions.

The result is a Norwegian-Estonian musical storm sending electrical waves through the audience.
