Oslojazz Talent: Madmax

Madmax is a forward-leaning band formed by four friends who came together when they started in the same class at the jazz program at NTNU in Trondheim.

With an exotic lineup of tuba, synth, guitar, and drums, and a rather nonchalant attitude toward genre boundaries, the band plays bold, fearless music that works just as well for those who want to move freely to the beat as for those who prefer to keep their inhibitions. Expect crooked riffs, hypnotic club grooves, energetic solos, meditative soundscapes, and, not least, vocal-driven pop songs—just a taste of what audiences can look forward to when experiencing them live!
