Oslojazz Talent: PESH

In the intersection of tradition and total freedom

PESH plays explosive chamber jazz that exists in the intersection of tradition and total freedom. The quartet consists of up-and-coming jazz musicians from Poland and Norway that were brought together during the international improvisation-program «INTL Jazz Platform» in 2021. An immediate spark was ignited and the idea of forming a common project was born.

Improvisations and interactions are at the core of their music, which is based on the band member’s own compositions. Their material is transformed on stage, resulting in a fresh and playful expression.
