On her new album Tomorrow We’ll Figure Out the Rest, Silje Nergaard has composed a collection of melodic songs inspired by classic jazz standards. Songs about life and love – universal themes that we can all relate to. In 2025, she will embark on an extensive European tour with some of Norway's top jazz musicians, and in Oslo, we will have the pleasure of hearing her in a symphonic arrangement. During the Oslo Jazz Festival, Nergaard will bring the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and conductor Vince Mendoza for an exclusive concert at Kulturkirken Jakob.

With this album, Nergaard returns to jazz, where it all began in 2001 with At First Light, which opened the door to the international jazz scene. The songs are recorded with her longtime band and a full string orchestra. The arrangements are written by the legendary Vince Mendoza, who has worked with artists such as Björk, Joni Mitchell, and Pat Metheny, in a long and extensive career.

Silje's band, with Helge Lien on piano, Jarle Vespestad on drums, and Finn Guttormsen on bass, has played an important role throughout her musical career. For this occasion, they are also joined by the legendary guitarist Georg Jojje Wadenius, who has also contributed to the new album. They are all unique instrumentalists, and they bring a very personal touch to her music with their playfulness, warmth, and sensitivity.

The Norwegian Radio Orchestra is an orchestra of high international level. At the same time, it is a flexible orchestra, playing everything from symphonic repertoire and contemporary music to pop, rock, jazz, and folk music. The list of collaborations with famous artists in all genres, both Norwegian and international, continues to grow.

The concert will be filmed and showed on TV.
