Oslo Jazz Festival is a non-profit foundation with the purpose of producing a festival of 60+ concerts at 15 venues in the center of Oslo every year in week 33. The festival was founded in 1986 ans covers a broad range of jazz styles.
Some of the artists that have performed at the Oslo Jazz Festival are: Herbie Hancock, Jan Garbarek, Charles Lloyd, Arild Andersen, Nils Petter Molvær, Maria Schneider, Paul Bley, Karin Krog, Gregory Porter, Tony Bennett, Sidsel Endresen, Ornette Coleman and more.
