Oslo Jazz Festival is a non-profit foundation with the purpose of producing a festival of 60+ concerts at 15 venues in the center of Oslo every year in week 33. The festival was founded in 1986 and covers a broad range of jazz styles.
Some of the artists that have performed at the Oslo Jazz Festival are: Herbie Hancock, Laurie Anderson, Jan Garbarek, Charles Lloyd, Melody Gardot, Arild Andersen, Maria Schneider, Karin Krog, Gregory Porter, Sidsel Endresen, Ornette Coleman and more.
