Jazz at Oslo Pride!

Free jazz at Oslo Pride

June, 4th, 2025:

Oslo Jazz Festival and the National Jazz Scene are joining forces to present jazz and related music on the Panorama Stage at Rådhusplassen, June 28th as part of Oslo Pride 2025. Entry to the entire Pride Park is free.

Leirblaa will perform two sets, both at 17.00–17.45 (all ages) and 19.00–19.45 (18+). DJ Fattigfornem follows up with raw, danceable jazz and other niceness at 21.00!

Leirblaa plays Jakob Nordli’s music, which combines quirky songs with lyrics in the Trondheim dialect, improvisation, alluring acoustic instruments, and pop-influenced electronic elements. Since their formation in 2018, Leirblaa has played numerous concerts, gone on several tours, and recorded two albums.

Their second album, Drømmesky, will be released in September 2025. The album explores the tension between alienation and hope, fantasy and reality, and looks toward the "dream cloud" — another place for small and big dreams, misty veils and patchy showers, a flowing disorder and rich imagination.

The members of Leirblaa are all active musicians in the jazz and improvisation scenes in Trondheim and Oslo and are also involved in projects such as I Like To Sleep, Phønix, Liv Andrea Hauge Trio, and Trondheim Jazz Orchestra.

DJ Fattigfornem will spin relatively uncompromising jazz, both old and new, in a glorious mix. Good for the soul! Also known as Fredrick Arnøy, he is also an artist, jazz illustrator, record collector, and jazz enthusiast!

Welcome to a free jazz party in Pride Park!
