Are you a student and want work experience with communications and festival?

Oslo Jazz Festival is seeking a student intern to work with communication and marketing for this year's festival. With us, you will gain broad experience in communication work and a good understanding of how festivals operate. Your tasks will be adapted somewhat to your preferences and will be well supervised by the marketing and communications manager, providing you with excellent opportunities to develop your skills during the internship period.
Tasks:
- Content production for the festival's digital platforms, with an expertise in TikTok and video production
- Managing the volunteer group for social media
- Following up with artists and partners
We offer:
- A 4-week internship from July 21 to August 17, 2025
- The internship is paid at a rate of NOK 2500 per work week
- Hotel accommodation covered for the festival period if desired
- Food expenses covered during the festival week
- During the festival week from August 11th to 17th, expect to work every day, including evenings and weekends
Desired qualifications:
- Passion for press and marketing work
- Strong computer skills and experience with online publishing and social media
- Good at collaboration combined with independent follow-up
- Accurate, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Some experience with festivals and/or jazz is an advantage
